Open Daily During Summer Months
10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Ship is open to visitors 7 days a week during Summer months. October to November hours may vary, contact ship to confirm. Openings can be weather dependent. The Ship is moving back to HMCS Dockyard on the 13th November.

Ship Closed to visitors while berthed in Dockyard over winter months.

Admissions

Admission for the ship is by donation.
The suggested minimum amount for children is $5 and $10 for adults.

Is there accessibility access?

HMCS Sackville is made up of a multi-level platform connected by ladders. Visitors with mobility issues may find exploring the ship challenging. This is a Second World War ship and due to the uneven deck and the historic nature of the ship we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and baby strollers.

Are we allowed to take photos of staff?

Yes, please ask permission first if you are taking photos and there are staff members in the frame.

How long is the tour?

Tours are tailored to individual circumstances, ranging from 15-60+ minutes.

Are we allowed to bring food or drinks onboard?

Only water bottles are allowed.

Do you offer tours in other languages?

Yes, French is available.

Are dogs and other pets allowed onboard?

No pets, except for service animals with proper documentation provided.

Are there washrooms onboard?

No, there are no washrooms or restroom facilities onboard the ship. There are public washrooms close by located on the waterfront.
