The Longest Battle - HMCS Sackville, the Crowsnest Officers Mess and the Battle of the Atlantic Video

Built in 1940 as a convoy escort ship, HMCS Sackville is the last of a fleet of 122 Canadian corvettes. In 1985, the ship was restored to its original condition and docked in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and thus made Canada’s official naval memorial. Find out how to access the video and lesson plan about HMCS Sackville done by Valour Canada here.
